Avery Cooper: Avery is a Freshman studying Religion and International Studies at Baylor University.  She is an active member of her church community, and has already participated in a discipleship program at Baylor as she prepares for a career in ministry.  She has a background of active involvement in honor societies & community services, and plans to rush in the Spring, and to continue to grow her involvement on campus during her second semester at college.  Congratulations, and best wishes in all your future endeavors, Avery!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Avery Prewit: Avery is a Grad Student studying Accounting at Texas A&M. She will be graduating with her BA and MA in May 2024, and hopes to be a Certified Public Accountant by the end of the year! Avery is active in her sorority, on campus, and in her church community; and she has been running her own small business for 8 years, providing artwork to customers in the form of custom signs, chalkboard art, original drawings, and outdoor game sets. Congratulations, and best wishes in all your future endeavors, Avery!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kate Barclay: Kate is a Freshman studying Business at Mays Business School at Texas A&M.  In her first semester of college, Kate has already become an active sorority member and participated in community service events, a Bible study group, and a career fair. She has also started a successful small t-shirt company with friends, and has plans to become even more active on campus and in her new college community. Congratulations, and best wishes in all your future endeavors, Kate!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lianna Villarreal: Lianna is a Junior majoring in Biology & minoring in Sociology at UT Austin. The creator of her own small jewelry business, Villa Atelier, Lianna is a hardworking, accomplished, compassionate, and service-oriented individual, pursuing a medical career with the goal of being able to help those most in need.  She put it best herself when stating on her application, “…This scholarship would award me an opportunity to pursue the career of my dreams; a career rooted in service and compassion.  I aim to make a lasting difference in our community, and the Texas Wireless Association Scholarship will definitely be the difference-maker when it comes to affording the education I need to achieve that.  However, you, the Texas Wireless Association Scholarship Committee, are not just helping me get through college.  You are improving the quality of life for countless families to come.  You are nurturing the humanity of each and every patient.  You are cultivating the health and wellness of individuals within our very community…”  Congratulations, and best wishes in all your future endeavors, Lianna!

 

 

 

Teague Prewit: Teague is a Freshman studying Business at Sam Houston State University.  As he transitions from a very active HS career to college life, Teague is considering the field of Sports Management, with Business as a minor.  With his strong academic background and focus on not only sports, but community service and leadership, he is sure to excel on campus this semester.  Congratulations, and best wishes in all your future endeavors, Teague!
