The Texas State Wireless Association has established the "TXWA Keith Harris Scholarship Fund."  TXWA hosts numerous charity events to raise money in Keith's honor and is now able to provide scholarships for qualified students. 

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2009 TXWA KEITH HARRIS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS:

Ashley Bui - Baylor University, Junior - TXWA is proud to have chosen Ashley as the first $2,500.00 recipient of the Keith Harris Scholarship.  TXWA hopes this scholarship will provide her additional financial aid that will allow her to better acheive her college goals.

Ashley is a Medical Humanities student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  Ashley spent the last two summers as a volunteer for Project Transformation in Dallas.  Project Transformation is a non-profit organization that provides programs for underserved children and youth in the inner-city neighborhoods of Dallas.  Ashley helped plan and coordinate an eight week summer day camp for approximately eighty children and youth.  The day camp consisted of reading with children, arts and crafts, sports, bible lessons and service projects.

Lukas Jacobson - Texas A&M University, Freshman - TXWA is proud to have chosen Lukas as the first $1,500.00 recipient of the Keith Harris Scholarship.  TXWA hopes this scholarship will provide him additional financial aid that will allow him to better acheive his college goals.

Lukas plans to major in Industrial Distribution at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  Lukas was a member of the National Honor Society, participated in football, rugby, and track at the Woodlands High School.  Lukas excelled in rugby, was a member of the All-Texas Rugby Team, USA Eagles under-20 national team and will continute playing for the Texas A&M Rugby Club.
